Shoghal Serial

Shoqal Series (Persian: سریال شغالسریال شغال) is a 2025 Iranian mystery‑drama series written by Zamiad Saadvandian, directed by Behrang Tofighi, and produced by Ali Tolouei, set to premiere in summer 1404 (Iranian calendar). Spanning 15 episodes of roughly 50 minutes each, the series unfolds in both Tehran and northern Iran, weaving a tense narrative of forbidden love, betrayal, and hidden family secrets, captured within a crime‑melodrama framework. Its memorable tagline—“In a world where trust is scarce… sometimes survival means becoming a jackal.”—sets the tone for a story steeped in moral ambiguity and emotional intensity.

Mahdi Soltani, Shabnam Moghaddami, Kambiz Dirbaz, Amirhossein Fathi, Sajad Babaei, and others deliver layered performances, capturing complex interpersonal dynamics and forging deep dramatic chemistry among key characters. Boasting production in multiple locales, high-profile cast members, and a director with a stellar record in Iranian home-video hits like Aghazadeh and Sargijeh, Shoghāl is one of the most anticipated domestic series of the year. With its intricate plot and emotional resonance, it aims to grip viewers with suspense and layered storytelling.
